Berlin calling! Claus Burmeister and Patrick Jacklin were guests on the most popular German-language wine podcast "Terroir und Adiletten" by Willi Schlögl and Curly in Berlin. The podcast was recorded in a suite at the Orania Hotel in Kreuzberg.
About the hosts: Willi has been a formative personality in the German wine landscape for years. Named "Sommelier of the Year" by Rolling Pin in 2014 and 2022, he is also responsible for two of the pioneering new establishments of the last ten years: the Berlin institutions "Cordobar" and "Freundschaft" (Wine Bar of the Year 2021 in Rolling Pin and Focus). Curly, on the other hand, has nothing to do with wine professionally. He is a rapper, songwriter, lyricist and producer for top league rap and pop stars. He writes songs for internet superstars such as Knossi and Julien Bam, which have been downloaded millions of times. Curly also has a part in Julien Bam's successful Netflix series.
So it's hardly surprising that the podcast recording is crashed by none other than Mark Forster. Born in the Palatinate, he sat down for a relaxed chat and enjoyed a few of our wines.
