Altitude: 190 to 285 m and slope: up to 35%.
The grapes are gently harvested by hand, carefully sorted and fermented in small vats as whole berries. The goal is to obtain powerful, spicy Blaufränkisch (Lemberger) with a fine tannin structure. Biological acid reduction takes place in used barriques, where the wines age for 8-12 months.
Deep blue-red, dense ripe aromas of black cherry, plum and wild berries. Powerful on the palate with a fine fruit, rich tannin and long finish.
Pair with game and wild fowl, lamb, aromatically prepared beef dishes.
