Pale golden yellow, very fine nose with bright, fresh fruit, somewhat tropical, but also herbaceous spicy, mineral notes. On the palate the wine shows a nice opulence, decent tannic structure. Freshness and length. The acidity is well integrated. Aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and papaya. Good aging potential.

To strong and aromatic dishes, roasted and grilled fish, shellfish, veal and poultry.

"Hilsbacher Eichelberg" is the oldest vineyard in Kraichgau according to documents (1238). The site is characterized by a slope of 50% and its southern exposure embedded in forest, as well as an altitude of up to 320 meters. Soil: poor calcareous marl with stubby sandstone and very little iron. The grapes are gently harvested by hand, carefully sorted and slowly pressed after a juice skin contact time of several days and fermented for about 8 months in wooden barrels.
