Auxerrois belongs to the Burgundy family and is one of the classic grape varieties for the Kraichgau region. The grape variety is very demanding in terms of sites, which is why it grows on southeast-facing slopes at the Heitlinger winery. Cool forest thermals on the sites stabilize the acidity and add freshness to the wines.
