Straw yellow, aromas of cedar, cookie, ripe pear and apricot, pink grapefruit, dry herbs, a few ethereal notes. Complex, densely powerful. Fine balance, very precise with wonderful acidity, long finish.

The 19th century Kreuzberg Chapel now gives its name to the hillside. The "Tiefenbacher Heinberg" still bears the historical Gewann name, this indicates a Celtic cult site, a "Hein". As a rule, exposed places with a special view were chosen for these sites.
The site is located on a steep hill that turns and slopes towards the west. Towards the east the hill forms a kind of amphitheater. There the forest stretches to the foot of the hill and offers protection from cold north and east winds, our warmest location. The very barren white limestone, with lots of pebbles, produces a structured Chardonnay with lots of minerality and herbaceousness.
