Straw yellow, aromas of cedar, cookie, ripe pear and apricot, pink grapefruit, dry herbs, a few ethereal notes. Complex, densely powerful. Fine balance, very precise with wonderful acidity, long finish.
Grown on light chalky marl. Crushed whole grapes, left to stand for 4 hours, pressed via screw press and fermented in 400l tonneaux (wooden barrel) 1st + 2nd occupancy for 8 months. Then 8 months on the full lees in stainless steel.
